Quarantined: the fear of Corona and How to overcome with it?

Before talking about this term ‘Quarantined’, let’s try to understand what the meaning of quarantine is. 

According to Wikipedia, “A quarantine is a restriction on the movement of people and goods that are intended to prevent the spread of disease or pests. It is often used in connection to disease and illness, preventing the movement of those who may have been exposed to a communicable disease, but do not have a confirmed medical diagnosis.”

By this explanation, it seems that we are not allowed to go out for a single room or the restrictions for us until the spread of disease and the cases rate become null and till maximum reports will be negative.

In the year 2020, this COVID19 pandemic overcome to the entire world and that’s why to prevent the spread of the coronavirus we need to get people to quarantine for their safety and other’s safety too. As such type of disease or we can say the virus has come to us after a hundred years. Yes! This is a matter of fact. That’s why we majorly don’t know much about it. Neither the quarantine stuff nor about this word quarantine.

In today’s scenario, many people find this word new, and actually, they heard it for the first time in their life. That’s why they are taking the help of Google and different search options to know the meaning of quarantine.

To explore the meaning, they are searching in their native languages. For example: quarantine meaning in Marathi, Quarantine meaning in Hindi or Quarantine meaning in English, etc.

Before we put our interest to Quarantine stuff in detail, we need to know a little bit about Corona Virus or COVID-19. As we all know this virus first targeted the Wuhan city of China and later it is spreading worldwide. It Named as COVID-19 by World Health Organization (WHO) and it means Corona-Virus disease of 2019.

The basic symptoms of COVID-19 are dry cough, tiredness, fever. The main problem or we can say fear with covid19 is, this virus can be spread by just short touch to each other. While explaining I can say, as we come in contact with Positive person and after that when we will touch our eyes or nose or mouth and then we can get infected.

To prevent this type of limitless spread, the people who come in contact with the corona positive patient is getting in quarantined by the local authorities and government. The important thing to mention that we don’t have to take any tension or worry about the quarantine. 

As we all are in fear of COVID 19 because we have seen many people getting their results positive day by day. On the other side, the death rates in our country and other countries are increasing day by day. We are feeling the fear and Surely, We are getting anxious about this pandemic.

“Being quarantined is not painful but spending all the time alone in that single room and fearing day by day about the possibility to get a positive result now or you can be corona positive later. That gives you the panic attacks.”

The Fear of corona and how we can overcome it?

When you get quarantined, First thing you should do is not to worry and don’t be panic. Remember, it’s just a procedure that everyone should follow to prevent this virus spread. It was just 14 days procedure and all you have to try to come in less contact with people because if you get positive then the possibilities are high for those people who come in contact with you can get infected. Mostly, they can be your family members, relatives or neighbors, or any random person who comes in your contact.

The issue is you can easily track down the family member but if you will come in contact with any random person then tracking him or her would be impossible. After that, he unknowingly starts spreading the virus all over the people because he doesn’t have any idea that he is also infected. Until a few days, time passes, and the symptoms start to execute.
That’s why asking people and take them in quarantine is necessary. To stop the spread of this virus. So, buckle up your mind that you are doing this for people you love, you care, because if somehow you get positive then, unfortunately, all of them have to become quarantine and between them, if someone’s immune system is not much strong or someone is already having any weakness like Diabetes, Blood Pressure,  Kidney problems, etc. It might kill them.

That’s why at this point of time, you would think about others and you don’t have to be panic. Don’t act like some illiterate person who doesn’t know the difference between what is good and what is bad, I have heard a few people misbehaved with doctors and medical staff, few of them was run away from hospitals and quarantine centers because of this fear of corona. But please don’t get panic. By doing this, you are making things worse for yourself and for people you love and care about.

Conclusion:  Becoming quarantined is not a big thing; it doesn’t mean you are corona positive; it’s just a precaution we are taking to kill the single percent of the possibility of the spread of COVID-19.

We do not need to be panic because we are doing this for the safety of our love ones.

Don’t spoil your psychology because of some fake news; we need to believe our government and medical staff.
